Introduction

It was mid November when the owners, Guy and Rosie, contacted Dirk to tell him about their brand-new sim Asian Dreams A taste of Bali and Japan, and we had the honor of being among their first Guests.

As the name suggests, the sim is a representation of two beautiful Asian locations Bali and Japan, but despite being two completely different places, they way they had been laid out makes it so they perfectly blend and do not overlap each other.

The Look & Feel

The crescent-moon shaped sim has the raised-on-the-rocks area to the left reserved for the Japanese side while the area to the right is reserved to the Balinese side.

In the middle, a splendid sandy beach acts like a border between the two areas giving the visitor an even greater feeling of being in Paradise.

The whole sim is built with care and evident attention to details and it couldn’t be otherwise. As the owners themselves explained to us, Rosie has a deep knowledge of Japan while Guy is the expert of Bali having lived there for a long time.

Beautiful waterfalls, streams and pools of crystal clear waters, coconut palms and dramatic active volcanoes provide the idyllic backdrop that characterize the sim.

Overall - 4.5 / 5

The Facilities

On the Japanese side:

Zen Garden and Onsen - a place where meditation and the healing of the spirit are essential.

Cliff diving - for the brave of heart

Secluded beach - a romantic spot to enjoy with your loved one

On the Balinese side:

Hot Air Balloon Ride - click the rezzer in front of the huts

Games Hut and Temple Gardens

Warung Restaurant - RP Service on demand. Please contact Guy or Rosie to book your lunch/dinner.

Surf/Ski Jet rezzers

On the public beach between the two areas there’s also 7 Seas fishing, a surf rezzer and a DJ Club & booth inside a fish shack.

Overall - 4/5

The Rooms (Bungalows/Huts)

There are a total of three huts for rent one of which is the Honeymoon Hut.

The furniture inside each hut is simple but perfectly done.

All the bungalows use the same bed, USDesign Lerna Bed, and they are all equipped with a private breakfast terrace and coffee machine and a radio which allows guests to choose from original balinese music and other stations.

The Honeymoon Hut is different from the other two because it has access (through a teleport) to a private dock with a luxury yacht in the Fruit Islands (a group of approx. 200 sailable sims) as well as a private outdoor bath tub.

All huts are equipped with orbs as security.

Prices are very affordable (197L/night for the two normal bungalows - 547L/night for the Honeymoon Hut)

Overall - 4/5

The Anims

The sim is moderate so all animations in the public areas are PG rated.

However, the bungalows, having a security orb always active, have adult animations.

As already mentioned, all huts use the same bed, the USDesign Lerna Bed, and both Dirk and I agree this is the best bed we found in a hotel/resort so far.

It satisfies all needs having MF - FF - MM and BSDM animations. All the animations are very smooth, very realistic and need very little adjustments.

The animations of the private outdoor bath tub are remarkable too. Even though they are MF only, some of them can be used for FF and MM purposes.

Overall - 5/5

Other considerations

Is the sim adult? Moderate, with adult anims in the rooms

Privacy - It’s an open sim, so anyone can go and visit, but the rooms all have security orbs

Lag - Very little

Prices - 197 - 547L a night

Overall - Highly recommended

Despite having a luxury look, the atmosphere is very relaxed and laid back, the perfect place where to spend a peaceful holiday or honeymoon.

The owners are extremely friendly and welcoming and always available to assist for any request you may have.
