⭐⭐ (Facility Level) | Free Mainland Motels | L$0 | ✅ RECOMMENDED

QUICK FACTS
Price: FREE
Adult-rated: On the mainland so moderate, but adult furniture in all rooms
Properties: 2 motels - Black Lion Super 7 & Easy Rest Inn
Best For: Budget travellers, curious explorers
Privacy: None (doors don't lock)
Special Features: Packed with NPCs, mainland weirdness
BOTTOM LINE: Strange free motels with adult amenities and an army of mesh people. Super 7 is surprisingly decent, Easy Rest Inn is dystopian dive territory.
Welcome to the Black Lion Strip
Located on Corsica’s Circuit la Corse, the Black Lion Super 7 Motel and its sidekick, the Easy Rest Inn, serve up a cocktail of free accommodation, adult furniture, and questionable design choices wrapped in SL's mainland's unpredictable, unregulated charm.
🏨 Black Lion Super 7 Motel
A familiar prefab (Killers Happy Summer Motel), this two-storey structure mostly plays it straight.
Rooms
Each room is:
Free to use (save your Ls)
Kitted out with a DRD Adult Motel bed
Outfitted with an Elm. Adalyn adult shower and functioning bathroom, a rarity for a free Motel
Decorated in “budget motel chic”, think faded beige wallpaper, discount art. Spartan, utilitarian decor. But the rooms actually look like they see a cleaner occasionally.
As it’s free, privacy is non-existent (doors don’t lock, and camming knows no bounds). But for zero Lindens? No complaints.
Ambience
This place is absolutely packed with mesh people. Where did they all come from? It’s like someone bought an NPC megapack on Marketplace and thought, “Yes! We’ll use them all!”
NPCs loiter in the diner.
Crowd the pool.
Lurk around the parking lot
There are also signs for the ‘nude drivers of Second Life’ at reception. No further explanation is provided, and frankly, none is needed.
Pro tip: The mesh people are easy to derender if you’d prefer fewer fellow guests.
Extras
A functional fitness room upstairs
A generously sized pool downstairs (again, packed with NPCs)
A diner that comes with tables, chairs, food on the counter, and the sense that no one has eaten here. Ever.
Think Motel 6 with animations, not Monte Carlo. But it works.
Local Colour
This is Mainland, so zoning is optional. Nearby you will find:
A giant cannabis vending machine
A texture store
And a fair few abandoned and vacant lots
🏚️ Easy Rest Inn
Teleport from the Super 7 Motel Reception and find yourself in a whole new genre.
First Impressions
Reception is manned (well, guarded) by an NPC in a clown mask with a club.
No receptionist in sight. Possibly a related incident.
Colour scheme: Brown-on-brown
Decor: Prison chic
Rooms
Same layout and furniture as the Super 7 (DRD beds), but this is way down the social ladder. The place feels very decayed, like the ceiling could collapse mid-”session”.
Surroundings
A strange fallout shelter off to the side
An abandoned pool with “INM” clean-up animations. More off-season Blackpool than peak-season Ibiza
A looming skyscraper facade that looks like it time-travelled from SL 2008 (actually it probably did). Absolutely hideous. But also kind of on-brand
Final Verdict
🟢 Black Lion Super 7 Motel
A no-fuss, no-privacy pitstop with better amenities than you'd expect, and a whole tribe of NPCs to keep you company whether you want it or not. Not the Hilton or even the Holiday Inn, but it does the job.
🔴 Easy Rest Inn
A surreal dive into SL’s darker impulses. Like checking into a haunted house and a post-apocalypse bunker -for free.
Recommended.
