Badu Utah: A Glimpse into AshaRhia's Monthly Masterpieces ⭐️

Over recent years, AshaRhia has gained recognition for crafting temporary pop-up destinations that captivate visitors for a few weeks before they vanish. This year, Asha returns with an even more ambitious endeavour.

Under the Badu brand, she plans to unveil four unique destinations each month from now until the Summer, accessible for just two weeks at a time. These experiences range from Airbnb-style accommodations where guests enjoy privacy and independence to structured activities and even full-service resort offerings.

Trinity and I recently visited the first resort in her 2024 line-up, Badu Utah. Even though it closes on March 10, our experience offers a glimpse into what Asha's future resorts may hold.

Upon arrival at Badu Utah, a staff member greeted us and escorted us to the reception for check-in.

The accommodations included both villas and glamping-style tents. We opted for a villa, which, true to Asha’s reputation, featured impeccable interior design, adorned with art and furnished to the highest standard.

Each villa boasted a private pool and patio, enhancing the exclusivity of the stay.

The resort's main building was a highlight, showcasing one of AshaRhia’s signature attractions - an expansive and stunning pool. Additionally, the resort offered a comprehensive spa alongside a bar and a restaurant.

The focus at Asha’s resorts is on role-playing (RP), which enriches the guest experience. During our stay, we engaged in various activities such as a desert horse riding tour, zip-lining across canyons, canoeing, and a BBQ brunch hosted by Asha and other guests.

Asha also emphasises the communal aspect of her destinations, valuing the friendships and connections formed there.

Overall, we had an excellent stay, demonstrating Asha's commitment to detail and guest satisfaction.

What to expect in future

Looking ahead, AshaRhia has unveiled an exciting lineup for the upcoming months, including destinations in Botswana, Cuba, an interactive Jumanju game-like experience, Thailand, the Philippines, Morocco, Fiji, and an Avatar (the movie) themed resort.

Reservations for these experiences can be made via the Badu website once bookings open.

Key considerations for potential visitors include:

  • Badu resorts tend to be moderate, but the rooms and villas have adult furniture

  • In my experience, lag has generally not been an issue

  • There is excellent privacy and security

  • For the hotels, you need to pre-book. Access to the Badu regions is generally not open to non-guests.

In summary, Badu Utah exemplifies the high standards and innovative spirit that define AshaRhia's Badu destinations. Asha’s evolving roster of pop-up vacation spots is truly impressive, offering unique experiences that are well worth exploring. Highly recommended.
