Lalou Resort—Where adult furniture meets beach oasis
What's one way you can advertise your products if you are a furniture brand? In the case of bed maker R:a:W:A:g:e, it involves having a free Motel adjacent to the store, which unfortunately has a bit of sketchy vibe to it, given the characters it attracts.
Lalou however has taken a different approach, with owner .Blue having created The Lalou Resort. This is an immersive experience for visitors, showcasing her entire range of adult-themed furniture in an enticing and engaging environment.
The end result is an aesthetically pleasing and well-executed venue.
Overall look and feel
Situated on the same sim as the Lalou store, the resort boasts various elements that cater to different interests. The central attraction is the beach resort, encompassing multiple beaches, islands, a picturesque lighthouse, and free-to-use houses. Cafe Lalou, a two-level meeting spot, offers a pleasant setting for socialising.
A larger beach house is available for free use, though as it's free there is of course no privacy.
Liquid 9, a newly established club/bar/lounge, hosts regular club nights. Meanwhile there is a discreet D/s lounge, catering to both maledom and femdom, without compromising the overall experience, in case that’s not your thing.
Facilities
There's quite a bit to do at the beach resort itself, this includes
A rezzable jet ski
A Bubble rezzer - rez a bubble and float around the sim
Flamingo bumpers
Teegle pet horses (rezzable)
A climbing wall
Swim rezzer
Dance areas / dance balls
Practical information
Cost - free (obviously there's no privacy if you are in one of the houses)
Adult - yes
Lag - None for me., I could run ultra graphics on a Macbook pro
Overall
Regardless of whether you are in the market for Lalou items, the Lalou Resort proves to be a captivating and enjoyable destination. Standout features include the beach loungers by the lighthouse, offering a nice spot for couples or solo relaxation, and the well designed Liquid 9 bar/lounge, one of the best I’ve seen in Second Life.
Overall, Lalou has succeeded in creating not just a showroom but an immersive experience that captivates and engages visitors beyond their product offerings.
