Review - Century Hotel

Summary

The Century Hotel revolves around a small club that hosts events for the Cabaret Arabseque group. The owners have added free rooms, a lobby with a bar, a pool and a spa into the venue and so turned it a hotel.

The lobby is quite basic, but the rooms are well kitted out, and the pool and spa are decent. The Century Hotel is very adult themed, but it’s also free - coming to stay will cost you nothing.

Overall look and feel

The reception area looks a little dated with a small bar and a scary looking mesh person behind reception, and as this is the first thing people see, I wish more would have been done here. However the rooms and spa are pretty good, bearing in mind this is a free place. Everything is decorated in a dark reddish tone with a vague art deco theme.

The overall concept is very adult, the hotel description even talks about mystery and sex, and so every item of furniture appears to have adult anims.

Overall - 3 / 5

The rooms

There are two free rooms, both of which, in keeping with the overall theme, are quite dark.

One has an indecent affairs modern swingers bed, while the other room goes for Rawage. Both have a bathroom with shower and WC, which I always think is a plus in a free place. Baths are adult and are from Llorisen.

If you are feeling more adventurous, one of the rooms has an Alchemy BDSM cross.

Overall - 3.5 / 5

The facilities

In addition to the small reception and bar, there is a pool which is housed in a skybox from Abiss Designs. I see this design quite a lot, but here it has been customised to fit the overall hotel look and feel.

There's also a bar and a DJ set in the pool area, so the idea I assume is to hold occasional events here.

The small spa meanwhile includes a Dutchie Swingers Sauna.

One of my favourite areas however was the “fight club” with a boxing ring and a fencing game. I used to fence in RL, so I enjoyed this a lot.

Finally there is the burlesque / cabaret venue itself, details of events can be found by joining the group.

Overall - 4/ 5

Other considerations

Is it adult? Very much so

Privacy? None, the rooms are free

Cost? Nothing

Lag? I didn’t have any issues

Overall

Though I personally wouldn’t stay here, as I value privacy and am willing to pay for an experience, this is somewhere you may want to consider if looking for a free hotel. It’s definitely a step up from the adult motels you see dotted around the grid, with the furniture in particular being of a pretty good quality.

I also think it’s potentially worth a visit for the ‘fight club’ (fencing / boxing) alone.
