Introduction - Highly Recommended

As the name suggests, Little Santorini is a Greek island themed sim, with a village, shops, restaurants, bars and cafes, beaches, and a number of villas that can be rented on a nightly basis.

It comes from Jasmine Kiyori, who is behind the Strasbourg themed Cheri Noel (only there until January 6th) as well as a series of Far East city sims.

Like her other sims, Little Santorini is beautifully put together with amazing attention to detail.  There’s a lot to see and do, and so it definitely comes Highly Recommended.

The overall look and feel

Snapshot_010-1.jpg

Little Santorini is built on a hilly island, with a village, pier and beach at the bottom, there are then a series of winding steps to take you to the top, with the different holiday villas spread across the island.

When you reach the top you will get to a church, a vineyard, and also a lighthouse, with amazing views over the rest of the sim.

Little Santorini looks authentic (as much as an SL sim can), with domed houses and everything painted in a blue / white colour scheme.  A particular favourite of ours were the shops and cafes near the top of the island.

Like the real Santorini, Little Santorini has black sand volcanic beaches.

Overall - 4.5/5

The villas

We stayed in one of the larger villas, the Villa Athena at the top of the island.  It is on two floors, with a private pool, a bar, and on the roof, a roof terrace and jacuzzi.  The ground floor had a living room, kitchen and bathroom with the bedroom on the second floor.

Just like with Jasmine’s Christmas themed Sim, Cheri Noel, paying more is definitely worth it, as we had a fantastic view over the rest of the island from the pool.

However, even the smaller (995L a night) houses are really well done, even though they lack some of the extras of the larger ones.

The facilities

Beach bar (yes, she’s a bot)

Beach bar (yes, she’s a bot)

Here are just some of the things you can do while on the island

  • A diving pier and underwater area with coral reef and fish - one of the best we’ve seen

  • A black sand beach with a beach bar and jet skis

  • A vineyard and chapel

  • Shops and cafes

  • Bikes that you can use along the pier and the bottom of the island

  • Horse riding on the pier and beach

  • A lighthouse with views over the island (take a zipwire to get there)

The anims

Santorini-Sofa-1.jpg

Our villa had a Di’Cor Jacob bed, which we preferred to the standard Ruckus beds we’ve found in most resorts, with a wider range of animations.  The jacuzzi outside had anims for same sex couples as well as MF ones.

The PG anims in the cafes and bars were a little hit and miss and took a little adjusting.

Overall - 4 / 5

Other things to consider

Village bakery

Village bakery

Little Santorini is moderate, but there are adult anims in the furniture in the privacy of your own villa

Prices start from 995L per night for a villa

There was a little lag for me, not so much to get in the way of my experience

The island is open to everyone (for now), but the villas all have very efficient orbs which kick out intruders within 20 seconds

Overall - Highly recommended

Little Santorini has a lot going for it, and I’d recommend it for a 2-3 night stay so you get the most out of it.  Like the rest of Jasmine’s sims it’s beautifully designed, and a lot of effort has gone into making the whole experience as authentic as possible.
