A rooftop set by Xoch (Noon), Elizabeth (Liz) Dovgal (1pm), followed by Thirteen Luckless at 3pm.

This isn’t a hotel review. Not exactly.
While I do run a blog about hotels in Second Life, what you’re seeing here is something different, a personal project, and one I’ve been lucky to be close to as it took shape.
Miramare is the first of three new venues at SANCTUM, a private adult sim created by my partner, Maya Absinthe. It’s not a public resort or rental property. Think of it instead as a high-concept retreat, that is sometimes open for events.
Maya is the creative force behind SANCTUM, and she brought in Megan Prumier, one of SL’s most talented designers, to bring her vision to life. The result? Something elegant, sensual, and very much its own thing.
This Saturday’s event is a soft reveal: No rooms for rent (though there are rooms), no rates, no concierge.
Miramare lives somewhere between private build and curated dreamscape. (Design inspiration? The brief Megan was given was Thompson Hotels)
It’s the first chapter in a larger story: two more venues are on the way. Another one from Megan, and one from our friend Piper, another brilliant SL designer.
If you're curious, come along. You’ll have two incredible SL DJs to entertain you by the rooftop pool. But if you miss it, you’ll have to wait.
