Tuna Cat Café: Sci-Fi, Cats, Games, and Ocean Views

Are you into cats, interactive entertainment, graphic novels, arcade games and scenic ocean views? Look no further than the Tuna Cat Café, a venue that offers an eclectic mix of all these interests and more.

While I initially planned to do a round-up of SL's hidden café treasures, I stopped when I found the Tuna Cat Cafe.  Really, this place warrants a piece in its own right due to its remarkable offerings.

Created by Tunaberry (Tuna), the café stands as a masterclass in doing an awful lot in a small space (a 1024 parcel for the main cafe with some overspill on the hillside) without looking cluttered or cramped.

The cafe itself is on Route Two on Heterocera's mainland. Perched atop a cliff, it presents a breathtaking ocean view (SLURL).

Tuna's creation within this compact space is nothing short of impressive:

The café is adorned with a feline theme, including resident cats.  The main floor features a café/bar setup and a cosy seating arrangement. Decor enthusiasts with a penchant for Science Fiction, manga, arcade games, and cats will find themselves at home here.

The furnishings are really high quality, boasting Lalou bar stools, armchairs, sofas, and backbone arcade machines. While the Lalou items come with adult animations, the mainland location means the surrounding area is moderate.

In addition to the high-end décor, the café is equipped with MyStory-compatible coffee machines.

But there’s more. Ascend the stairs to discover a karaoke lounge leading to a rooftop garden adorned with feline sculptures.

Stepping outside, you are greeted with additional tables for seaside coffee enjoyment, set against a backdrop of stunning natural beauty, complemented by a SkipDo Gaming table.

A cliffside staircase descends to a beach enclave featuring a bubble tea stand, a hand-and-foot gaming table and beach loungers.

As an added bonus, you can rez your boat on the beach to explore the surrounding area.

In essence, Tuna has created something really special. Traffic seems to be quite modest, but it deserves more. Whether you're seeking a pleasant setting to socialise, a romantic nook, or a picturesque spot for photography, the Tuna Cat Café is a destination that awaits your visit.
