Introduction

Vivid Islands of Pleasure is a newly launched adult destination that takes its cues from Ibiza’s nightlife and adds a generous dose of virtual glamour. It’s an environment designed for visual impact. From the moment you land, it’s clear this is a place where atmosphere matters.

Think ambient lighting, custom skies, polished surfaces, and sensual design choices throughout.

But unlike many venues that lean purely into club aesthetics, Vivid attempts to blur the lines between a high-end adult lounge, a romantic escape, and an event space. That’s an ambitious mix, and while it doesn’t quite come together as a traditional resort,  at least not yet,  the execution is confident and stylish.

It’s also new. Built over a few months, the venue is still evolving, but already shows a strong understanding of layout, flow, and guest experience. Whether you're here for a party, a photoshoot, or a private rendezvous, there’s a clear through-line: this is a place designed to look good and to make you look good in it.

Rooms

There are four themed domes, each visually distinctive. You reach them by clicking the logo at the bottom of your screen (you’ll get this after accepting the experience at the entrance), then you are taken to a rental floor.  Note, unlike many other hotels, you can’t go in for 60 seconds to look around first:

  • Romantique - Velvet black and gold glamour, candlelit bath, and terrace jacuzzi, the largest dome.

  • Moderne - Minimalist, nightlife-inspired, and the only dome with an interior dance pole.

  • Nature -Earthy textures, lush views, and a nearby waterfall make this location ideal for couples wanting a more tranquil experience.

  • Bohème - Boho styling, swing seat outside, and a more intimate floor plan, this is the smallest one

Each dome is private, situated on its own parcel, and access is restricted to the renter and their guests.

The standout here is the QYN glass bathtub in two of the domes, a sculptural, transparent centrepiece that feels high-concept. It's rare to see, feels both sensual and architecturally bold, and it sets the tone for the space around it.

Pricing ranges from L$170 (30 minutes) to L$1,000 (2 hours) depending on the dome. As a result, you are very unlikely to book this for a few days; it is more meant for post-club encounters. There are, however, time extensions available inside. Privacy is good; you won’t be disturbed or accidentally walked in on.

Facilities

Vivid’s public spaces are its calling card, as essentially this is first and foremost a club and beach/pool bar.

The heart of the sim is the main lounge and bar, where every detail feels selected for effect: glossy marble floors, deep-set neon glows, custom furniture, and angular, sculptural forms. It’s unapologetically adult, but not in the usual predictable sense,  more velvet-rope club than cookie-cutter dungeon.  The area is also PBR-optimised, so you will miss a lot if you still use an older viewer.

The pool complex is set under a shifting aurora sky, it features sunken firepits, floating loungers, and a centrepiece jacuzzi framed by neon-lit steps. The lighting and water design are really well done, and the space encourages you to stick around, whether you’re solo with a camera or sharing it with friends (or a date)

Beyond the pool, you’ll find two distinct beach areas, “Sunrise” and “Sunset.” Each offers its own mood and lighting, with hammocks and secluded seating spots. These are ideal for quiet escapes, but never feel disconnected from the sim’s more social areas.

There’s also a DJ stage and event zone, backed by waterfalls and fully wired for parties and performances.

Importantly, everything is camera-friendly. The sim was built with photo ops in mind: strong foregrounds, well-lit vistas, and rich texture contrast.

Other Info

  • Rating: Adult

  • Privacy: Excellent – each dome is its parcel

  • Lag: Wasn’t an issue for me

  • Rental System: HUD-based, via the Vivid experience, intuitive and seamless

  • Pricing: Different levels of domes, rental is hourly and not daily - L$170–L$1,000 per stay (30 min, 1 hour, or 2 hours)

  • Vibe: Ibiza nightlife

  • Note: The ad boards (including ones for more low-rent adult venues) at the landing point are at odds with the rest of the experience. Unless these really are necessary money spinners, I’d lose them and think of different ways to get sponsorship/ads

  • Model: Hourly-only stays means the accommodation is closer to a love hotel than a full resort

Conclusion

Vivid Islands isn’t yet a resort in the traditional sense; there’s no day-based rental model, no concierge-style amenities, and no broader storyline to the experience.

But what it is already stands out: a beautifully designed adult venue with excellent short-stay domes, standout visuals, and a mood all its own.

The attention to detail, especially in the domes, is excellent. The use of high-end furnishings, sculptural lighting, and that great QYN glass tub elevate the experience. With a slight shift toward daily or themed getaways, Vivid could easily position itself as one of the top SL boutique retreats.

For now, it earns a strong RECOMMENDED, especially for couples, photographers, and those seeking a sensual experience with serious visual polish, as well as a must-visit club and entertainment venue.

Many thanks to Michel Morningstar for tipping me off about this destination
