Exploring the Charms of Corsica's Hikers' Inn
In the heart of Corsica's South Coast lies the Hikers' Inn. On the recommendation of the local community, I went to see this retreat located among the scenic beauty of Monte Corse Nature Park.
Unlike traditional hotels, the Hikers' Inn can’t really be scored and reviewed in the normal way. Nevertheless, I very much liked what the community has done here, and also wanted to highlight the many offerings in the vicinity, which are worthy of further exploration.

To navigate the nature park, interested visitors can follow this SLURL. Meanwhile if you want to go direct to the Inn, this is the SLURL for you.
The Inn can be found perched atop a steep path accessible from the Circuit La-Corse, leading through the Monte Corse nature park. Along this ascent, you can catch a glimpse of various animals flanking the trail.
An essential stop on this journey is the Geodome, where you can get a complimentary stars EEP.
The Inn, boasts a fairly simple layout with a downstairs dining and sitting area, while the top floor hosts four bunk beds. Thel decor reminded me of real-life counterparts. This enhances the overall appeal, providing a touch of authenticity to the experience.
Of particular note is the terrace, affording a comfortable seating area and panoramic vistas of the coastline—preferably enjoyed with an increased graphics draw distance. Access to the Inn comes free of charge, and it's important to stress the family-friendly nature of the space, with all furniture being PG.
The Community
Beyond the Hikers' Inn lies the wider Corsica South Coasters community, meticulously documented on their website
Serving as a comprehensive guide, the site lists various points of interest and destinations, with the Corsica Tourist Center & Tea Garden standing out as an excellent starting point.
A variety of attractions awaits exploration, including an airfield, a butterfly conservatory, a brewhaus, and even an owl sanctuary. Additionally, the website serves as a hub for community events such as live music nights.
The depth of what is on offer is truly impressive. This mainland enclave has an array of experiences waiting to be discovered. I for one will be returning to explore in more detail.
Conclusion
For me, endeavours like this showcase Second Life at its best. It's an experience definitely worthy of several hours of your time.
