Pemberley is now open

Over the past two months, Aria has been spending a lot of time remodelling the Jane Austen themed Pemberley. The amount of work she put in really shows in the amazing end result.

It’s immersive, incredibly detailed and it looks gorgeous. You are constantly finding new things to explore around every corner.

The sim, owned by Aria and Natalia and Jude Mortensen is now accessible to everyone, with the launch party happening this Saturday.

I’m obviously not an unbiased observer. So in addition to showing some pictures Aria took while at work, here is what one of my go-to destination bloggers, Susann DeCuir of ‘Mein Zweites Leben’ (my second life) wrote when she visited for the first time:

“Wonderfully romantic in design…all of it looks like a large garden of an enchanted castle kissed by moonlight….Congratulations to the three owners for this jewel. One of the most beautiful regions I have been allowed to explore in Second Life.”

(Read Susann’s full review, and some of her other sim tips here, it’s in German, but Chrome translate does a good job).

Then, it made the editor’s picks in the Second Life Destination Guide.

Also take a look at this beautiful video from Sabina Valeska, which brings everything to life.

Final note - if you are not into Pride & Prejudice, it really doesn’t matter. This is a beautiful sim that’s worth exploring in its own right. I particularly recommend the cafe as a hang out spot.

SLURL and hope to see you on Saturday (6 May) for the grand opening party featuring Semina and Fly Kugin.
