Review - Motel New Dreams
Next in my series of motel reviews is the Motel New Dreams. In my books, it has one thing going for it - its free rooms have what I think is one of best beds in SL.
Introduction
Here's what you need to know:
The Motel itself is in a skybox, half a dozen or so rooms sit in a double storey Motel building, facing a pool which has graffiti strewn walls
The rooms are free. They are also very adult. The bathrooms include an 'It's not mine' shower and an adult WC.
The decor of the rooms is quite basic and dated.
However, having stayed in 50 odd Second :Life hotels I've seen a lot of beds. The Motel New Dreams rooms includes the US Designs Lerna one. Sadly only very few SL hotels have this (most default fo Rawage or Ruckus), but I think both the PG and adult animations are excellent.
In fact, this 1700L bed kind of sticks out given the basic surroundings.
Overall
Would I recommend the hotel? It's not for me personally, not even given that it's free.
There are better options, for example the Sunrise Motel is much better designed, sits in a National Park, and also has free rooms with adult options.
However, if you are into a more urban and rougher vibe, and are looking for somewhere adult and free, this may be somewhere you want to check out.
Either way, the bed is worth checking out though. Overall, I'm also a fan of some of the other Urban Style Designs furniture.
