Sandra’s Bar, Club and Motel
Recently, on the suggestion of Tuna, the owner of Tuna's Cat Cafe (see review), I visited Sandra's Bar and Club, an establishment owned by one of Tuna's friends.
The first thing to say is that this is not remotely a vacation place. It’s very much an adult club with a Motel attached. Regardless, I was impressed by how the owner, Sandra, developed it. This includes free rooms with furniture as good as in some hotels where you have to pay and a really cute small spa.
Here are a few highlights:
One of the first things that caught my attention was the excellent decor throughout the premises. The dark red color scheme and ambiance perfectly complement the overall atmosphere, creating an inviting and immersive experience for patrons.
The bar area serves as an excellent spot to unwind, even during quieter periods when the place isn't particularly crowded. The bar also operates the Bar No 5 dispensing system, where someone can buy drinks for all patrons and dancers.
While the spa pool may be on the smaller side, I really rated the design and execution.
Then, there are the rooms. The Motel rooms, available free of charge, are spread across two locations: two rooms above the main club and five more conveniently located just across the parking lot.
Unlike the dated and lacklustre appearance often associated with free SL Motels, the rooms at Sandra's are imaginatively appointed and feature newer and highly rated adult furniture brands, including Darkfold, Cumming Soon and Good Moaning.
Unlike other free spots, they are also private. You rent the rooms at a meter at the door, and can then TP anyone in.
Sandra's Bar and Club won't cater to everyone's tastes, given its adult-oriented nature. But in the mass of adult spots, this place stands out.
If you are after an adult entertainment spot or a free, well-designed room with high-end furniture, the combination of impressive decor and well-appointed Motel makes it one to consider.
