Suhani Islands
Suhani Islands is a new airbnb, beach type place that’s become quite popular as a Flickr photo spot. It’s beautifully done, definitely worth a visit and a stay.
Sim owners : Tessalie Resident & Kelty Petrovic
Sim designers : Adam Cayden & Lya Seerose
Overview
In Hindi, Suhani means pleasant and peaceful, and that very much sets the scene about what you can expect when you get here.
As a result, Suhani Islands is an Indian Ocean / Maldivian style beach place with villas, a swimming pool, stone buddhas and statues, the sea and nature. It’s pretty compact but really nice designed and laid out, and the kind of place you could easily spend an afternoon, evening or longer.
Though the main island has several villas all next to each other, they still feel private and not cramped.
What you need to know
There are about half a dozen villas for rent, prices seem to start at 850L a week
The villas all seem to be individually decorated with slightly different pieces of furniture in each. The quality of the furnishing and design is really high. Each of the villas faces a little patch of beach. In addition to the villas, the owners have added two private islands for rent.
Suhani Islands is free to visit, but be careful when walking around rented villas as they have security orbs.
The island is moderate, so swim suits / bikinis instead of nudity are the norm in public areas. However, the villas have adult furniture inside.
In terms of resort facilities, there’s the beach, a nature trail with a hanging bridge, and a swimming pool with a bar.
I found no issues with lag (2021 vintage mac running Firestorm on very high graphics)
Summary
Recommended and somewhere to catch the last weeks of summer. The Sim owners and designers have really done an excellent job here.
