The Wonderpark Resort

Introduction

The Wonderpark Resort by Lifestyle Inc. is a vibrant and imaginative amusement park-themed destination that I recently had the pleasure of reviewing. With its array of colourful and unique villas, ranging from a Little Mermaid-inspired house to a Barbie beach retreat, this resort offers a delightful experience for those interested in family RP or seeking a fun and unconventional getaway with friends.

While the resort's prices are higher than other SL accommodations, the creativity and attention to detail in its design are noteworthy. Recommended

Note this is a private resort, you either need to book via the website or buy a day pass from the office. Details at the end.

Overall look and feel

Upon entering Wonderpark, visitors are greeted with an authentic amusement park atmosphere that Lifestyle Inc. has done a good job in capturing.

The entrance area features a few too many 'mesh people' for my taste, but thankfully, they are absent from the resort itself. After passing through the main desk and reception area, guests can explore the resort using the TP board or simply by wandering around.

The central area has great water features, a giant pool, and numerous amusement rides. A small beach and lighthouse can be found at the end of the region, adding to the resort's charm.

The suites

The themed suites at Wonderpark are impressive, each offering a generous two-level layout with multiple bedrooms, bathrooms, and spacious common areas.

The attention to detail in the decor is excellent, from the Super Mario Suite to the Star Wars Suite, Barbie's Beach House, and Ariel's Little Mermaid-themed Beach House.

However, it's important to note that the prices for these suites can be quite steep, with some nights costing upwards of 6,000L, which is significantly higher than comparable SL resorts, even those with themed environments and RP focus.

The facilities

Where Wonderpark Resort truly shines is in its extensive facilities and activities. The region is packed with a wide variety of rides, mini-golf, a Ferris wheel, and an amusement arcade, providing guests with plenty of entertainment options.

The resort also features a restaurant offering dinner at a reasonable 1,000L per person and breakfast at 800L per person. Additionally, guests can book RP services such as story time for 500L per person.

Other things to note

It's worth mentioning that Wonderpark Resort is not an adult-oriented destination, although I did notice Loft and Aria beds in the master bedrooms of the suites. I experienced no issues with lag during my stay, and guest passes can be purchased from the office for 1,200L, granting access for four hours.

Overall

In conclusion, the Wonderpark Resort offers a refreshingly unique experience within SL. Despite its high prices compared to other SL hotels and resorts, the level of creativity and immersive design makes it a worthwhile consideration, especially for groups looking to split the costs.

If you're seeking a fun, imaginative, and well-executed amusement park-themed resort, Wonderpark is recommended.
