Three hotels to look out for in the Autumn

Just as I thought I’d soon run out of hotels and resorts to review, news has come out about three projects on the horizon, all of which I am looking forward to seeing, given who is behind  each one.

Update (1 November), I’ve now visited all three

Asian Themed Luxury Hotel - Kiyori Sim

Jasmine Kiyori is expanding her excellent Kiyori urban city sim, part of which will involve an Asian themed luxury hotel.

The Kiyroi sim already has a fun and quirky Japanese love hotel called Hotel Eroyado.  This new hotel however will offer more of a conventional experience.

The hotel (which as yet does not have a name) is due to open at some point during the Autumn, prior to the reopening of Cheri Noel, Jasmine’s Alsace-themed Christmas sim.

Also, be sure to check out Little Santorini, a vacation island (it’s open for all but with rentable villas) which has just had a spa added on for guests.

(Note the above picture is not Jasmine’s new hotel, rather a pic I took of an empty facade on the Kiyori sim)

Amour Paris

Luxury Destinations SL, the team behind Lush Tulum, a great Mexican themed resort, alerted me to the fact that they are working on a Parisian themed vacation experience, which has the working title of ‘Amour Paris.’

Rather than just a hotel, the idea here will be to create a series of Airbnb style apartments dotted around a mini Paris, which you can walk around and take in various sights.

Amour Paris should be open in the next six weeks or so, but in the meantime, go and stay at Lush Tulum.

Over the past year, Lifestyle Inc has opened up and operated a number of resorts, such as the now closed Heart of Dubai, which impressed me a lot.

Lifestyle Inc also runs a safari themed resort called Makanyi and a theme park called the Wonderpark Resort.

Rio should be open for booking soon, what excites me about this is that they have asked Tonal Studios to do the landscaping, and I’ve seen some of what Lola Bailey, their creative director, has done in the past.
