Seven SL Hotel Choices for the Holiday Season

Where should you go if you’re after a unique and immersive place to stay to celebrate over the holidays?  Having been to around 200 SL Hotels over the past three years, here’s my curated list of seven standout destinations that will ensure a memorable Festive escape.

1 -The Continental

An oasis of luxury and intrigue spread across seven levels, The Continental seamlessly blends Victorian, steampunk, and modern aesthetics.

Recent additions, such as Victorian and Asian-themed hotel rooms, make it a must-visit. The Roman-themed spa and Shanghai-inspired nightclub enhance the immersive experience.

The Continental is free to visit for now, but it may be restricted to group members next year, making this an excellent time to both go and join the group.  Also, check out the cyberpunk themed city behind the Hotel, which is worth a trip in its own right.

Located in the noir-themed Omerta City, The Empire Omerta Hotel offers a distinctive and immersive experience. With intricate decor and bespoke RP options, it stands out as a stylish destination for special occasions.

The newly introduced members' only entertainment area that includes a private movie room and cabaret club adds to its appeal.

Meanwhile, the on-site Vitalis restaurant will soon be joined by a Sushi bar and restaurant for excellent RP dining experiences

Part of the Le Chateau Resort complex, this standalone country club impresses with its 1980s-inspired design and French Royal dynasty influences.

Membership grants access to a well-designed club with amenities like a golf course, tennis courts, swimming pool, and innovative hotel suites.

Also worth checking out - The Le Pompadour Restaurant (no group membership needed) for one of the best RP dining experiences in Second Life.

7 - Aspen Ski Resort

Freshly opened for the Winter Season, the Aspen Ski Resort from Highlife Destinations promises a full RP experience.  I’ve been to every Highlife resort so far, and each has excelled in terms of the quality of the accommodation and the facilities on offer, and so I expect this to be no different.
