The Continental - See review. The Continental fuses different styles from Victorian, to Cyber to Steampunk to modern, to create something really unique. This place has to be seen to be believed.
Seacloud Archipelago - See review. A great addition to the SL beach resort scene. This is the kind of place you’d want to go to in RL.
The Bongani - See review. Ticks all the boxes for a five star hotel break. Excellent design and attention to detail.
The Empire Hotel - See review. Located in Omerta City, this is a quirky and imaginative venue combines the best elements of a high end hotel and exclusive members’ club.
Le Chateau Country Club - See review. Part of the wider Le Chateau complex, this 1980s French / US themed club has its own group, and joining fee. Seriously impressive, it looks and feels real. See also the review for the main Le Chateau Resort
Bonaire YanuYanu - See review. Completely rebuilt in the Autumn of 2023, this resort offers the ultimate SL beach vacation experience.
The Essencia Hotel - See review. This is probably the closest replica to an RL urban resort hotel I’ve seen. Incredible levels of detail, it feels and immersive and real.
The Emerald - Part of the ‘Breathe’ private members’ club and bathhouse, this is a modern city hotel. The rooms are a real highlight, access to the Emerald is reason enough to join the Breathe group (Review coming soon)

Ana’s Lake Motel 68—See review. This is a very good option if you're looking for a free Motel with pretty extensive facilities. Unlike most other SL Motels, there’s actually quite a lot to do in the surrounding area.
Badu SL - See Badu Maldives review. Created by AshaRhia, Badu is a pop-up resort style experience. The aim is to create four a month, each of which are only open for two weeks. With a focus on RP, Asha’s resorts offer an excellent experience.

Bright Diamond Oasis - See review. Bright, cheerful, fun and with a good free Motel.
Burrow Inn - See review. Basic, but cheerful and free Motel within the Burrow Wood County community
Camina Madre Motel - See review. Part of the very popular Mother Road sims, this does an excellent job of replicating a 1950s desert roadside Motel.

French Riveria - See review. The latest destination from Highlife, themed around St Tropez, Cannes and Nice.

SS Galaxy - See review This was a floating hotel (cruise ship) until 2015, now it’s owned by Linden Labs. A lot of it is very dated, but parts have stood the test of time well. Definitely worth a visit.
The Sunset Motel - See review. Nicely decorated with adult furniture - and free. Part of the Tanglewood National Forest, which also has camping options.
The Takai - See review. Part of the Kiyori City sim. A blend of Tokyo and Seoul, the end result is astounding. A particular highlight is the outrageously over the top casino. Also check out the K-Pop bar on the main Kiyori City sim.
Hotel at the Woodlands - See review. A small hotel with really high quality design and a super low room rental price.
The Wonderpark Resort - See review. Offers something a little different, a detailed and imaginative theme-park / resort experience in SL.
